Check Your Internet Speed

As ISP (Internet Service Providers) offer higher connection speeds you may feel you're getting a bargain - but be careful. Many ISPs advertise very high speeds which can only be used at off-peak periods - you may find during busy periods you're sharing your connection with hundreds of other users!

Also, you should be aware that a speed advertised as "2mb broadband" may enable you to download at speeds of up to 2mb, but the amount of data you can SEND to the Internet (ie emails; music; gaming) is generally restricted to 250kbps.
